Despite growing up in a big city, Gabriela´s earliest happy memories begin near the ocean. Since she left the law firms, she endeavoured in new paths that led her to become a dive professional, an underwater photographer, a seafarer and a hyperbaric chamber operator.

After PMDP’s 2022 season, Gabriela has spent the last years working as a deckhand onboard OceanX and Inkfish’s research vessels, undergoing sea exploration and ocean science missions. As much as she enjoys these jobs, she misses cleaning marine debris with her PMDP family. She is excited to be back again for the upcoming Kuaihelani mission and to keep joining forces for a cleaner ocean.
