REEVE TROBERG

Marine debris technician II

Hometown: Kailua, O’ahu

Current Residence: Kailua, O’ahu

Reeve was born and raised on the eastside of Oahu, and grew up on the water. This led to a career as a lifeguard and eventually operating 100 ton vessels to service oil rigs off of Barbers Point. Living and working so close to the ocean has drove him to pick up hobbies such as diving, fishing, and surfing. Life on the water has pushed him to have a deep connection to the ocean and has allowed Reeve to develop an appreciation for protecting our coastal resources. Reeve graduated from Kalaheo High School in 2013 where he played volleyball and competed in states. He is most excited about tackling fisheries based pollution and making an impact! Reeve took a trip to Molokai a few years ago and witnessed a beach so overrun with trash, since then he's wanted to be a part of a bigger removal mission. Reeve is very excited to be part of the 2024 PMDP team and is grateful for the opportunity!
