Kauʻi Kiyomi Aguiar was born and raised on the island of Hawaiʻi, growing up in both North Kona and Hilo.  She has immense pride and love for where she comes from and enjoys sharing that with the folks around her.  Kauʻi has had the privilege of exclusively doing ʻāina work since graduating from Pepperdine University in 2021 and has taken every opportunity to learn new and useful skills throughout her various conservation jobs.  This will be her 3rd season with PMDP and she is looking forward to working with her friends and doing her part to keep our waters safe and clean. She is very excited and honored to be on another voyage to Papahānaumokuākea!!  Her hope for the future is that she will continue to do work that she loves and that will benefit and uplift her community.
