Andy Sullivan-Haskins

Hometown: Warwick, Rhode Island
Current Residence: Honolulu, Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi
Andrew initially arrived to Hawaiʻi via sailboat seventeen years ago. It was during that voyage that he first encountered the threats of marine debris first hand and has since spent the majority of his time in Hawaiʻi living and working in conservation on the remote islands and atolls found throughout Papahānaumokuākea. He has worked closely with endangered native species like the Laysan duck and the Hawaiian monk seal and is dedicated to protecting the native flora and fauna of Hawaiʻi. Andrew is an Emmy award winning photographer focused on conservation and environmental issues in Hawaiʻi. His work is intended to encourage and inspire change. This upcoming year will mark Andrewʻs third consecutive field season with the Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Project.
